εїз Mentoring with Love

chakra side row

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel or something that turns around. It is mainly used as one of many models of viewing, using or dealing with energy in the body. And within the chakra system there are many different models of how it works.

I believe that the Vedic model found in ancient texts about 3500 years ago, is no longer very accurate, as the human body and psyche has changed considerably since then. Still, the names and points can be used with some modification to accurately determine what’s going on in the energy body, and give the ability to use, see and understand the energy body.

Most popularly there are seven chakras, but there are many systems that have less or more points then this. I will use the most common seven, with an addition of three more points. One at the top of the Aura, one at the bottom, and a third between the heart and throat, that I will comment more on later in this text.

I believe that the energy body is a whole system, and it is wise to remember this, even if we split it up into seven parts so the mind can understand and work with the energy. In addition, you can find all the chakras within each chakra.

With all that in mind, I will show you a system, or one model of the chakras that I find particularly helpful in self development work, or on the path of realizing or finding you true natural genuine self.

The main 7 Chakras

1) ROOT Chakra (Red)
Succeed / Fail – Life / Death
“I am loved, or taken care of” , “I am in danger or unsafe”
“Will I survive in this world” , Will it kill me?”

2) HARA (Sacral) Chakra (Orange)
Rest / Activity – Creativity / Anger
“I Can move myself”

3) SOLAR PLEXUS (SP) Chakra (Yellow)
Attraction / Repulsion – Conditional Love / Fear
(Identification)
“I’m someone that can this and that”
“I’m someone who has this or that”

4) HEART Chakra (Green)
Happiness / Sorrow – Unconditional Love

4 1/2) THYMUS Chakra (Turquoise)
Acceptance / Being left out
“Distinguishing between similarities”
C#

5) THROAT Chakra (Blue)
Release / Suppression
“I WILL”

6) PINEAL (Third eye) Chakra (Purple / Indigo)
Light / Heavy
“Light or heavy thoughts” , “insights”

7) CROWN Chakra (White / Violet)
Sum total – Eternity – Oneness

*) Individuality Point
[In addition, if you imagine being surrounded by a see through white ball, or an egg, extending about an arms length all around you, this would be the Aura, and at the top you will find the point of individuality.]
After this point you expand beyond the personality construct.

*) Grounding point
located at the bottom of the aura.
